I have a friend whose mother is battling pancreatic cancer but the family struggles to keep their mother properly hydrated which results in ER visits and IVs. She refuses to drink liquids. have you had a family member going through chemo and battling cancer that has dealt with this? did you find anything that helped significantly to avoid going to the ER?

dehydration battles
benny0703 although I haven't experienced the same issue within my family, i thought that maybe since she refuses to drink fluids she can 'eat' for hydration as much as possible. The obvious are soups/broths and veggies & fruits like cucumbers, watermelon & celery which are 95% water. but also chia seeds soaked in coconut water (or plain water) and then added to oatmeal, yogurt, or even baked goods would be very hydrating. Chia seeds are extremely hydrating and full of antioxidants.
