I'm curious if anyone else on high blood pressure medication sees worsened acid reflux symptoms?
I temporarily stopped my medication and noticed a big difference. I have since re-started my BP meds and more severe acid reflux is back. taking another medication bc one causes the symptoms wears on me. -

Another natural remedy would be a quercetin supplement. it's found in plant based foods but you can buy it in a pill form. It is a natural antihistamine and anti-inflammatory.

bmccull8 to answer both posts on this topic, i like the over the counter product Dr. Ryland's Sinus+Allergy herbal formula. A few dropper-fulls under the tongue daily works well. Doesn't taste bad either unlike some other herbal formulas.

benny0703 although I haven't experienced the same issue within my family, i thought that maybe since she refuses to drink fluids she can 'eat' for hydration as much as possible. The obvious are soups/broths and veggies & fruits like cucumbers, watermelon & celery which are 95% water. but also chia seeds soaked in coconut water (or plain water) and then added to oatmeal, yogurt, or even baked goods would be very hydrating. Chia seeds are extremely hydrating and full of antioxidants.
